If you have ever seen
Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairies book, then you know what I mean when I
tell you this collection
is my version of that
book. All of these designs are real leaves and twigs that have been captured in
solid silver.
The process takes
approximately two weeks for each piece, during which time numerous layers of
silver are applied.
Once the layers are
thick enough, it is fired in a kiln, where the leaf and twig burn away,
leaving behind a
beautifully detailed silver fossil.

Spring's Beginnings

Pale greens and light inks always remind me of Spring. This sweet twig has
been fossilized in many layers of silver and set with a pale greenish-hued
abalone cabochon and three luminous pale pink freshwater pearls. Twig

Autumn Glory

little unakite stone resembles the changing colors of the leaves in autumn

don't know why, but these two dangling green freshwater pearls look like
little acorns to me. A straight twig has been fossilized in many layers of
silver and adorned with two dangling green freshwater pearls. Twig

stones.

First Frost

When I lived up north, I always remembered how pretty frozen leaves looked
in the first frost of the season. In my version, both a tiny leaf and twig
have been fossilized in many layers of silver. Twig centerpiece is
